| We love to praise the Lord with music and song here at Trinity Apostolic Faith Church. In
addition to piano and organ, our congregational singi
Sunday
services begin as the congregation gathers to music played on the
organ or keyboard. This is followed by a musical prelude played
by one (or more) of our talented vocalists or instrumentalists.
We then have congregational singing - hymns or more contemporary
worship songs. On Sunday mornings between the children's message,
scripture lesson and sermon, we listen as vocal groups or soloists
praise the Lord in song. In Sunday evening services when people
praise the Lord with testimonies o Our orchestra enjoys playing special musical arrangements monthly and for special occasions (combined meetings, Christmas, Easter). In addition to the orchestra we have a brass ensemble, flute ensemble and various instrumental soloists and groups - they do our musical preludes. We have a 27-voice choir, 9-voice ensemble, ladies ensemble, male quartet as well as other quartets, trios, duets and soloists. The
kids and young people of our church are an important part of the
music here. The young people lead the opening session of Sunday
School, where Music
highlights our annual Heavenly Lights celebration held each December.
The Singing Christmas Tree, where the kids from the very young up
through high school sing their hearts out sings upbeat arrangements
of Christmas carols. An adult vocal ensemble also joins in the festivities
singing various styles and arrangements of Ch With the exception of perhaps some of the youngest children, all the musicians in our church are folks that have been born again and are living victoriously for the Lord. We are thankful to have music as a way to express our love and our praise to the Lord. Come and rejoice with us. |

is accompanied by our 20 piece orchestra: we have stringed instruments,
woodwinds, brass, and rhythm sections.

we get to sing fun songs that get our arms and legs moving as well
as exercise for our lungs and vocal chords. We have a young people's
orchestra that often plays for Sunday School as well as our once-a-month
Young People's meetings. Youth services feature our younger musicians
who are learning musically as well as some more contemporary styles
of music. The young folks also take music to a local rescue mission
once a month.
ristmas
music. Our brass ensemble (trumpets, trombones and saxaphones) plays
at Heavenly Lights and we are reminded of the angels announcing
Jesus' birth. We are fortunate to have a 3 octave set of English
handbells that complete the musical highlights at Heavenly Lights.
They also are played during Sunday services occasionally at other
times during the year.
