Senior Pastor: Howard Wilson

Reverend Howard Wilson is the Senior Pastor of the Trinity Apostolic Faith Church in Richmond, California. He was ordained in 2001, when he worked as a minister on the Headquarters staff in Portland, Oregon. In June of 2002 he moved to Seattle, Washington to pastor the Apostolic Faith Church there. Reverend Wilson and his wife Gale moved to pastor the church in Richmond, California in October of 2007.

Reverend Wilson was born in Tacoma, Washington on June 19, 1958. He testifies, "My Grandparents and parents were all Christians. The Lord directed my Grandparents' steps across the United States until they affiliated with the Apostolic Faith Church. My father was a minister before I was born and a pastor for many of my years at home. I lived in Yakima, Washington; Grants Pass, Oregon; Port Angeles, Washington where dad was pastor and Portland, Oregon, where he is still on the ministerial staff. I got saved when I was in high school, but let the love of the Lord out of my life after I married. I received salvation again in March of 1994 and gained my deeper experiences within a year of that time." He felt the call to preach in the mid-70s but didn't preach his first sermon until February 6, 1996 because he ran from the challenge. He worked as an electrician until asked if he would work full-time for the church in 2000.

Reverend Wilson met his wife Gale at a Youth Camp while they were both still in high school. Her family came into the church in Chehalis, Washington, where she was saved. By the time he met them; Sister Gale's family had moved and attended the Portland church. Reverend Wilson moved with his parents and brother to Portland from Port Angeles in 1976 and the relationship continued. They were married on May 10, 1980. Their daughter, Melina, was born almost five years later in April of 1985. A second daughter, Lindsey, was born in April of 1987, and their son, Alex, was born in March of 1989. Melina is living in Spokane, Washington attending college. Lindsey and Alex live in Seattle, Washington and are also college students.

Reverend Wilson is excited to see how much the gospel appeals to younger people. He notes that, "In today's society there are so many things (careers, family, wealth, etc.) that seem to draw people away . . . but the gospel still reaches the hearts of those that will let it." He looks forward to meeting new people and new experiences in serving the Lord.
